Tonight, I Love You (Tag Tristan) « Thread Started on Jun 3, 2009, 4:58pm »
December 15th The Gala Ball 8:30
Erin was slightly nervous about tonight. She hoped everything went smoothly, she and the public relations crew had spent a while making sure that everything was done to the T for this part. It wasn't easy either! Espically not with Jason as a big boss. Things had gone slightly faster after she had gotten the ground works laid. Though she would be very happy when this was all said and done.
As much as she loved a good party, one reason she didn't have them very often was because of the amount of planning they required. And then for something like this, where a bunch of rich people would be gathering...well that was a whole different level of party planning indefinably. She was sitting in Tristans car currently, and they were themselves, on their way to the festivities. Most of the time, she would have found a way OUT of this silly thing. Even if she had helped plan it, she normally didn't like these little gatherings. But because and and Tristan had already made plans to go, she couldn't very well call and cancel on him.
She had given a quite and resolved sigh as she had made her way to the car in her white dress, black stiletto's, a single tear shaped diamond pendant hanging off of a pearl chocker necklace. From her ears hung delicate pearl droplet earrings. Her hair was in curls, pinned with three mother of pearl mini combs carefully to spill in certain places to frame her face. Her make up was done, to make sure to accent the dress. She had her silver clutch, and within it, was the silver and white mask. She was pretty sure, that the stupid thing would be taken off as soon as she got tired and irritated with it. Which would be after the first ten minutes.
Stupid Judy, the retarded red headed intern with the large bust. It was her fault that they had to wear masks. She would make sure, that at some point during this night, she made EVERYONE take off their masks. Erin had been fairly quite for about five minutes. She had wanted to test the waters. "So Tristan, how are you hun?" She asked as she turned to face him with a smile gracing her nude lip glossed lips.

Tristan looked at her briefly when he was driving but didn't get a good look at her. "I'm good" he said "I saw your parents today. Asked me if I was going to the Gala tonight" he laughed "I said yes but I didn't tell them I was going with you though"
Tristan looked at her again for a brief time, he smiled at her and then turned his attention to the road. "How are you Erin?" He asked.

Erin tilted her head when Tristan said that he had seen her parents today. Was there something going on that she should know about? She hoped her mum and dad weren't going through those stupid little pity fights that happened after her dad tended to have those ridiculous indiscretions. Maybe she would give them a call after the gala. She had a feeling she would need to.
He said something about telling them that he was going to the gala as well. She sighed, of course he wasn't going to tell them that they were going together. He father would have freaked if he had heard that, she rolled her eyes. "My father needs to stop thinking that I am a baby." she said with a sigh, "Other wise, I think you would have been able to tell them that you were going with me." She told him with a shrug.
Tristan was looking over at her every now and then. She raised an eyebrow and looked over at him. "What? Do I have something on my face?" she asked him, "You keep looking over at me." She giggled, and then smiled. He asked her how she was and she shrugged her shoulders again, "Uhh, I'm Great." She told him with a laugh. "I'm going to a gala with a great guy, not to mention that he is totally cute, how else would I be?" She asked him with a smirk, then inclined her head enough to grace him with a brief kiss on the cheek.

Tristan smiled when Erin when she asked him if he had she had anything on her face. She was different; But different in a good way. She was funny, witty and beautiful yet she was sensitive, caring and she had this self-confidence. It had only been one date type thing, but it made him feel happy and different. “You look beautiful and I would let you know if you had anything on your face.” He said with a smile on his face.
From Erin’s place, it was only a 10 minute drive, so they were there in no time. Tristan opened the door and gave his keys to the young guy who was parking the cars. He walked over to Erin’s side and opened the door for her and he offered his hand to help her out of the car. When she got out of the car, he held on to her hand and walked towards the party.
This was the first time that he got an actual look at her. She looked stunning in her white dress. “You look stunning” he whispered to her when they were walking into the building

Erin smiled when she heard his response, a faint pink sweeping over her cheeks and the back of her neck. "Well thank you sweets." She told him as she lowered her head a little bit and giggled. She was in the presence of a great man. That much she knew; on some levels he reminded her very much of her father. He was strong, and supportive, sweet and funny. It was something that made her smile, the way that they were like. And if you wanted to compare people, then she supposed she could kind of be like her father.
When they finally got over to the Gala Erin slipped out his car with hiss assistance and put her hand in his hand. She was escorted inside by Tristan and she smiled widely as she placed a kiss on his cheek. "So, I've got to be here to soften up all of these people." She said with a frown, she looked around the room for her boss. The person she worked under, not for, Jason Elliot. She had to make sure to check in with him for some reason or another. It had something to do with the Mayor wanting to make a big announcement and her and Jason having to go first and making smaller ones to batten down the hatches. If she was going to have to be talking to a room full of people, she would rather know now then later.
"What do you want to do?" she asked as she looked over at Tristan. She didn't know why, but she had not commented on how he looked tonight. She leaned over and stroked his cheek, "You look really nice tonight Tristan."
