Nicole sat in a chair by the window, looking up at the blue-gray sky. She rolled her neck a few times and ran her fingers under and over her eyes. Stress had her all tensed up. She silently wondered if you could get a massage here. They had room service, so it seemed like they would have other services as well. She kind of felt weird, knowing she wasnt paying for any of the things she was eating or doing. It was all coming from her checking account, that was filled with loaned money from her mother and Chris-her step father. When she was younger she was pretty much spoiled rotten, so she was going to revert to her old life-style and soak up everything this fairly expensive hotel had to offer. Yesterday, Chris had called to inform her that Emilee-her 1 year old-was sick with the flu, and also to remind her that she needed to be looking for a job so she could start earning money to rent a apartment instead of relying on them for the rest of her life. She really did hate that man...like she was really planning on living off them forever! She just needed help right now, but she knew giving her money must be really hurting Chris. He hated giving away money. Especially to things he considered lost causes, like cancer support, aids relief. And her. But thankfully, the next time he called to harass her, she could tell him that she now had a job. It was just some waitress job at Pompeii Bistro, but it was better than nothing.
Nicole stood up and rolled her shoulders before walking over to her bed and sitting down. She pulled the phone off of the nightstand and sat it on the bed. Glancing over at the paper on the stand, she dialed room service and desperately hoped they could get her a massage. But knowing her luck, if she could get one, it would be a creepy old guy with greasy hair and a weird accent. The phone rang twice and a man answered. She quickly conversed with him, using a sweet tone, hoping it would improve her chances. As it turns out, she could get a massage, but she had to make an appointment. The next available spot was at 8 tonight, so she booked it and hung up. With a sigh, Nicole placed the phone back on the nightstand and tried to think of a way to kill some time. After a few minutes she decided she would just go wander around, surely she could find something to do. Before stepping out the door, she brushed her straightened hair and slipped on some flip-flops. She wore them all year around, no matter how cold it got outside. Opening her door, Nicole stepped outside, making sure she had the key before letting it swing closed. Going to the right toward the elevator, she pressed the white button and watched it light up gold. A elevator arrived and the doors opened with a ding. She stepped inside and waited, allowing the elevator to take her where ever it was needed.

Wyatt was in a relatively good mood today. It was one of those mornings where nothing could really go that wrong. He had woken up, rolling out of bed while mussing his hair up as he sat on the edge of his bed. Getting him self up, he opened the curtains and stood there for a second to soak in the sun a bit. After that, he had gone to shower, and spent the morning doing nothing but paper work in his room. It was good to get out of the office every now and then. Wyatt often did this when he needed to not be cooped up in an office all day while running around. But the quite didn't last very long, since the phone in his room, that was also linked to the hotel's direct line rang and Wyatt grabbed it out of the cradle before it could get to the fourth ring. "Wyatt here." He said into the phone and then listened to see what would be said. One of his employees down at the front desk was asking what time to start the complamentery lunch for the guests that were here for the conference. Wyatt nodded, even though the guy couldn't see him do so. "Were starting it at 3:30pm, as soon as the ball room has been changed to have all four of those long tables set up."
He nodded again as the guy told him that the tables were already there, and were just being dressed up for the conference lunch. "Ok, that's fine. I will be down in a minute or two" He had been in his room most of the day, since he today was pretty much his easy day. There was only one manager for this hotel, as big as it was. But Wyatt didn't mind, he liked what he did, over seeing to the comfort of others and such. It amused him to see how people reacted to someone of his age group being in charge of this place.
He supposed if they didn't like it, they wouldn't have kept coming back. But he had people who had become regulars over the past two years he had been manager. He tugged on a clean white button down shirt over his black t-shirt and attached his manager pin to it. Making sure to grab his phone, his room key, and the walkie talkie mouth piece that he and all his employees carried with them while they were on the clock, Wyatt headed out of the room and to the hall. One there, he punched the down button and waited for the elevator to show up. It got there after a while, since he was on the 28th floor, and he slipped inside, punched the lobby button and waited for the doors to close again.
There was someone else in the elevator, and he turned to look at her. "Well Hello there." He said nodding towards her; he was always polite and nice to the guest. He made it a rule to interact with them as much as he could without it becoming bothersome. He smiled warmly at her and then said, "I haven't seen you around, are you new here?" He also tried to make it a point to know almost all the guest by sure name if nothing else.
