joining up
[+] this is an ADVANCED roleplay. if you don't plan on following rules or sticking around then i don't plan on letting you join. 'cause i'm a hardass. not really. but i try. [+] before you register plan on being here a lot. 'nuff said. [+] when registering, register with a FIRST and LAST name only. i realize everywhere else has first middle and last, but thats just to be formal. [+] register "firstname lastname." not "Firstname Lastname" [+] because I love you, theres a short application. its not that hard, because I hate em as much as you do. [+] after registering, fill out an application, post it in the "pending" section and then wait for hopeful acceptance.
characters
[+] no one's perfect. no mary sue's or gary stu's. this is why there's a "flaws" section in the application. [+] the most characters any one person can play is 3. to claim a second character you must have 50 with your first character, and to claim a third you must have 75 with your first and 50 with your second. things can get a little out of hand when 2 people combine to take 10 characters. seen it happen. however, there will be exceptions if you ask...nicely.
posting
[+] most of the sites i've made have had a very lenient policy on post length, but, naturally, people took advantage. please try to make your posts are at least 2 paragraphs each. it's really not that hard to do. if you can't do it, then don't join. [+] this site is rated PG-16. this means that sex, drugs, alcohol, bad language, fighting, and anything else is allowed. I require a warning for R rated posts, even if it becomes quite obvious that it's gonna be R rated when you start reading. if you are offended, then don't read it. that being said, let's try not to turn it into a porno site. we do have a mature board that your thread will be moved to once you`ve let an admin know that your done. but please, have your character keep it in their pants once in a while. [+] all posts need to be in the 3rd person past tense. if you don't already know this then you shouldn't be here. [+] FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, use correct grammar. this is a huge pet peeve of mine. a typo here and there is fine but if your horrible grammar starts to annoy me or others there'll be an issue. so make sure you're grammar is correct, or your gonna have to leave. (ha, everyone loves grammar humor.) [+] god-modding is a no-no. let other people do what they want. don't decide for them. [+] birth, death, and the like needs admin permission before doing. just ask. the answer will probably be yes. [+] double posting is annoying. the edit button is there for a reason. **note: double posting is fine in the cbox, where it's not permanent. steer clear of spam, though. [+] try not to trick up your posts too much. don't center align them, don't make them in 3 different colors, don't use stupid pointless symbols like %^#^$ and whatever. if it's easy to read, it's probably alright.
general
[+] keep fighting at a minimum. it's bad for board morale. for instance: no one cares about your political opinions. [+] this is for the most part a very liberal site. i'm not one who's constantly on your back about whatever you're doing wrong, and jess wont be either. its annoying to us just as much as it is to you. but let's not take advantage of poor sweet chris and jess. try to follow these, and your time here should go smoothly.
